Quinoa and peanut butter snack bites

If you like to snack during the day, do that in a healthy and responsible way. Forget about the cookies and sweets and choose for a sweet snack that is good for you. This quinoa-peanut butter bites are fast and easy to make. They contain good fats, protein and natural sweetness. Keep them in the fridge and enjoy whenever you need an energy boost. 

There are just five ingredients in this recipe, but it gives you all your body needs. Peanut butter contains protein, fibers, vitamin A, magnesium and potassium. Believe it or not, it helps you loose weight as it keeps you satisfied for long time.

Ingredients

  • 70 g cooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup (optional)
  • tbsp raisins

 

Preparation

Cook the quinoa in a pan with enough water. Follow the instructions of the package. It will take about ten minutes to cook. Drain from the water and let it cool completely with a lid on.

In a bowl mix the quinoa, peanut butter, chopped walnuts and raisins. The peanut butter is sweet, so add as much agave syrup, as you want. You can also leave it out.

Form small balls from the mixture. Put them on a plate and leave it the fridge to chill. Enjoy!
