Powerful green smoothie bowl

1 serving; 10 min preparation.

Start your day with this super delicious and full of healthy ingredients smoothie bowl. It’s not only incredibly healthy, but it also looks great with its vibrant green color.

The agave syrup gives just the right amount of sweetness, but don’t forget that the blueberries are quite sweet too. The peanut butter and avocado make the mixture creamy and add healthy fats.

You will never notice that there is spinach in the smoothie bowl, because the taste is hidden behind the rest of the ingredients. But you will get the right amount of iron from the spinach and feel it in your energy level.

And the toppings are of course totally optional. I chose colors and textures that just work together. Just use your imagination and add your favorite fruit and nuts.

Ingredients

  • 100 g frozen spinach
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 50 ml almond milk

for the toppings:

  • 20 g blueberries
  • 1 tsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp coconut flakes, shredded
  • 1 tsp cashew nuts, chopped

Preparation

Put one banana, frozen spinach and almond milk in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Make sure that there are no spinach cubes left unbroken.

Add peanut butter, avocado and agave syrup. Mix well. Transfer to a bowl.

Sprinkle blueberries, hemp seeds and coconut flakes on top. Chop the cashew nuts roughly. Sprinkle on top. Enjoy!
